The Copy Cat Tanzania Ltd Launches Network Solutions

A NEW network have been launched to enable corporate bodies and individuals to respond to the ever dynamic business technology needs more swiftly and efficiently.
The one network comes about by its ability to streamline wired and wireless local area networks (LANs) and virtual private networks (VPNs) into one simplified physical infrastructure.

Speaking to the ‘Daily News,’ The Copy Cat Tanzania formerly Business Machines Tanzania Limited (BMTL) Technology Business Consultant, Mr Naphthalie Ayonga, said that the system best described as Unified Access brings together policies and management under one network.
“The network will bring in a single and scalable point of central policy and management control for all your network operations, it is an integrated solution that brings together security, mobility, management and intelligent network infrastructure to target and solve key business problems,”.
Mr Ayonga said that people believe that the network was secure and forget to prepare it to block the traffic and prevent unauthorized access, adding companies need to dynamically apply policy and management across all their network segments.
Expounding further he said from a high level point of view unified access provides solutions to key business problems related to network access.
The devices range from the more traditional desktops, laptops to the less traditional smart phones and tablets as well as other personal devices.

Head of Networking Business, Mr Prasad Jap, said that things were changing especially in Information Communication Technology (ICT) thus companies should prepare to cope with changes.

The Copy Cat Tanzania Chief Executive Officer,
Mr Mike Holtham, said that the decision has come at an appropriate time as Copy Cat Group has been appointed by Samsung, as their primary partner in East Africa for Samsung’s technology.
He said it was a privilege for BMTL to work with Copy Cat Group which was one of the leaders in office automation and IT solutions in the EAC region
