This was all in connection with the upcoming play CHESHIRE CATS directed by Tina Sutton about 6 women who make their way to do the London Moonwalk to raise money for breast cancer and it tells of their funny but heartfelt reasons for doing the Moon Walk.
The event was coordinated by the Little Theater Cats with the aim to raise funds and create awareness for Breast Cancer charities in Tanzania society. We had to walk either 8Kms or 4kms from and back to The Little theater located at Oysterbay.
We had 353 people among them were men, women and children participating in different races.

Within the crowd, The Copy Tanzania Limited formerly BMTL took part in giving back to the community by Sponsoring and participating fully dressed in branded T-shirts with a slogan “Fight against Cancer” to identify the group and create awareness.
Refreshments were served as well as Prize giving for the winners of different categories such as fastest walkers, best decorated bra to mention a few. We received 3 individual prizes and a special prize as a compliment for the best attire along with a well decorated bra cake handed over to the CEO Mr. Michael Holtham on the Company’s behalf.
It’s main objective was to create awareness and raise some funds for Breast Cancer in Tanzania, it turned out to be a great success and proved the effort of the organizers and to all fighters who brought light to the Event. The event raised 15,475,500 Tshs (Fifteen Million, Four hundred seventy five thousand and five hundred) this money is set to support on-going projects by the Tanzania Breast Cancer Foundation.
